It's been a wild week on MyDS with the launch of the DSi. We've gone crazy with the handheld, with our DSi "what you need to know" guide, our unboxing and review. In anticipation, we headed down to The Nintendo Experience at the Swanson St. EB Games Store in downtown Melbourne to be part of the Australian Nintendo DSi launch.

Those in attendance that pre-ordered their DSi (or the sneaky ones who didn't) got themselves a cool Nintendo DSi showbag with some awesome goodies.

So, there you have it. The DSi has finally been released in Australia (before the US of A!) and is now available across the country. Be sure to check out trade-in deals at retailers for the best deals.

I was dieing to go to the launch but I wasn't prepared with enough money to buy it.

I did buy an Official Nintendo Magazine when it came out though.

ad I have a letter that got published in that magazine, and I almost won a DS lite!
