Guides \ A-Z DSiWare Reviews

Welcome to MyDS's DSWare Review round-up! Each week we review as many WiiWare and DSiWare games as possible to best inform you what is worth your hard earned Nintendo Points, and what to avoid.

Check back each week as we update the newly release games.

How We Review DSiWare Games

As you may have noticed from our first batch of DSiWare reviews, they don't follow our standard procedure for a full release game. For a start they are a lot shorter, usually no more than 150 - 200 words. They are intended to give you a quick insight into the gameplay and whether or not we believe the game is worthy of a purchase. The scoring system for these reviews is also different to the conventional "out of 10" score that we use for normal reviews. Each game will be listed as Highly Recommended, Good Value or Stay Away.

The Scoring System

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - This is a quality title, we recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the genre. These games are often what DSiWare is about, and well worth the Wii Points you pay for them.

GOOD VALUE - These games will be enjoyed by some, but aren't for everyone. They are generally good value for the price but aren't standout titles. Consider giving these a go if the description appeals to you.

STAY AWAY - Avoid these. These games aren't up to scratch, are way over priced or hardly constitute a game that should be paid for. Consider these only if you're an absolute fanboy who can overlook all of these flaws, but even then we can't recommend them to you.

A little bit of... Dr. Mario

By Gaetano Prestia

A little bit of... Dr. Mario is just as we all remember the original classic - fun, addictive and increasingly difficult. It's one of the most popular puzzle titles ever and was even successful during an era when Tetris owned to genre. If you're looking for a quick puzzler that is easy to grasp but difficult to master, than this title is for you. At 500 Points it's well worth the purchase.

There's a Classic as well as a Vs. CPU mode, both of which offer plenty of challenge, and the game seems to have been given a nice face lift with some nice bright visuals and overall great presentation. We doubt many people would have thought that stacking and matching coloured tablets would be fun, but Nintendo have done it again with an ageless classic.

Art Style: Boxlife

By Gaetano Prestia

Boxlife Is a fantastic new entry to the Art Style series available for DSiWare. Who would have thought that trying to form cubes out of paper would be so much fun?

Boxlife offers plenty of challenge, presenting you with a lay-out of small squares, which have to be folded and formed into several cubes before time runs out. In order to complete each level, you must make all of the required number of cubes without leaving any squares out. It might not sound that difficult, but the time limit really puts a stress on things. Furthermore, if time runs out, you start losing points quite aggressively, making the gameplay far more challenging.

It begins easy but eventually turns out to be one of the more difficult Art Style titles available. Getting a perfect score of 100 in the final stages is near-impossible, as the time limit never seems to fairly fit the amount of cubes that can and have to actually be made. There are plenty of ways to earn extra points as well, such as combining several cubes together to quickly increase your point total.

Boxlife may not be a title for everyone, but it offers plenty of unique and challenging gameplay mechanics to make it a worthy purchase. It gets incredibly difficult in the latter stages and fits in well with other entries in the unique Art Style series.

Art Style: CODE

By Gaetano Prestia

CODE is a simple maths game that revolves around three main modes - Target, Endless, Puzzle, and Versus. The game is played like the Brain Training serious with the DS flipped on its side.

The modes all vary in objectives and difficulty, from adding a bunch of numbers up to a specific digit, to solving a puzzle using only a certain amount of numbers to reach the designated number. It's simple gameplay that will challenge even the most dedicated mathematicians and it offers some great challenge.

Art Style: Kubos

By Gaetano Prestia

Kubos is a unique puzzle concept that is incredibly addictive. The main aim of the title is to guide a small stick man to the top of a level while avoiding falling blocks. It may sound simple, but there's plenty of challenge in this gem of a puzzle title for the DSi.

There are two main ways to die - falling off the level or being squashed by falling blocks - and the game gets progressively harder as you progress through the levels and aim to reach the top. Stages end up being very fragmented and difficult to climb, so you'll find that the latter levels are more prone to falling than being squashed, so be sure to master the gameplay before you tackle the more challenging levels.

Kubos is a highly accessible title and a great addition to the Art Style series on the DSi. It's not your everyday puzzle title, with a unique concept implemented well using the DSi controls. If you're after a unique puzzle experience with plenty of challenge and a long life, Kubos is definitely for you.

Art Style: Nemrem

By Gaetano Prestia

Nemrem, the latest addition to the Art Style series on DSiWare, is a relaxing puzzle logic title, with the main aim to match up coloured blocks and coloured spheres together on the screen. The game starts off very easily, with the same colours used over and over again to ease you into the gameplay. However, the later stages are extremely tough, subjecting you to multiple colours and more blocks as you aim to fulfill the requirements of each level.

All of the gameplay is done through the stylus, with you sliding coloured panels to match up with coloured spheres, which are located within the panels. It sounds complicated, but the gameplay is actually very smooth and fluid and quite addictive.

Nemrem is a very simple puzzle title, with simple controls and plenty of challenge. Yet another worthy addition to the Art Style series that should please most of you looking for a great puzzle title to test your gaming skills.

Art Style: PiCOPiCT

By Gaetano Prestia

Nintendo have once again hit the nail on the head when it comes to falling block puzzle games, with PiCOPiCT on DSi. While the game might be a bit difficult to understand at first, it has a level of addictiveness that puzzles dictate in order for them to be considered of high quality.

In PiCOPiCT, the bottom screen acts as a grid. As you begin, "bits" are spread out to correspond with spaces on the grid. You tap bits to "suck" them off the screen, and then ta a new grid to drop the bit back down again. You have to match the colours and avoid the block reaching the top of the screen. It feels like a mutated version of Lumines, which is fine by us.

PiCOPiCT is a very enjoyable and addictive puzzle title, and consider the low price, is well worth a purchase if you're looking for a great puzzle title.

Asphalt 4: Elite Racing

By Gaetano Prestia

Asphalt 4: Elite Racing is another great title from Gameloft, who are quickly turning out to be one of the most dedicated developers for the DSiWare service. Nintendo should take note after their own lackluster support for the promising feature on the expensive DSi hardware.

Asphalt 4 is a pretty simple car racing title with simple controls. You use A to accelerate and B to break, but you have to the choice of either the D-Pad or touch-screen to actually control the car. When you first start playing, you'll probably find the D-Pad a lot easier and responsive than the touch-screen, but once you get a hang of the car handling, you'll find that using the touch-screen actually offers a far more rewarding and challenging experience. Using the touch-screen allows more more fluid responses from the car and quicker split-second decisions on your behalf.

There is one downfall of using the touch-screen, though, and that's that it is near impossible to use on the harder difficulties. If you touch the wheel, the car slows down for whatever reason, as the car veers left or right. If this happens on a higher difficulty, your opponents will quickly overtake you and you'll struggle to catch up. It's a frustrating and very strange issue.

There are plenty of modes in this title, from the simple career mode, to the super fun destruction modes that have you taking out a certain number of normal cars or cop cars. There are also some cash challenges thrown in for good measure.

With any money earned, you can customize your car to how you see fit. The custom features aren't all that deep, but there's enough there to keep you entertained and give you incentive to pimp your ride out as best you can.

Asphalt 4 is probably the best racing title on the DS. Not only on the DSi, but on the whole handheld. It has plenty of deep modes and really accessible gameplay. The graphics are nice and there's plenty here to make the title more than worthy of your cash.

Aquite

By Gaetano Prestia

Aquite is an entertaining and highly challenging puzzler. While it can be daunting right at the start, once you get in to the flow of things, you’ll find plenty of enjoyment in this charming title. The game has three separate modes of difficulty and several game modes to tide you over for a while. The concept is completely new and unique and at the price is worth checking out if you’re after a puzzler.

The presentation and sound are both superb, with some great tracks and visuals that match the feeling of the gameplay. It’s a highly addictive puzzler that is very “pick-up-and-play”, much in the same light as Lumines.

Brain Age Express Maths

By Gaetano Prestia

Brain Age Express Maths is a stripped down version of the official retail versions of Brain Age, but it still offers plenty of value. There are eight different exercises to engage in, three of which are open from the get-go. You can unlock the remaining five as you progress throughout the game.

The exercises vary from simple - subtraction, add, multiple - to challenging and downright challenging, even for the most dedicated mathematical genius. Most of the challenges mimic those used in previous Brain Age games, so if you're familiar with the series you should feel right at home with this title.

There are also a few mini-games thrown in to take advantage of the DSi's inbuilt camera that lets you speak and take pictures to interact with mathematical games, such as acting out in a small mini-movie. They are cool little mini-games that add a bit more to the title and move the action away from the now over-done Brain Age exercises.

Brain Age Express Maths is essentially a demo of all other Brain Age titles. Still, it's worth checking out for a quick maths test or just for the mini-games which are surprisingly great fun to play.

Dragon Quest Wars

By Gaetano Prestia

Dragon Wars isn't quite what you'd expect. While it seems to be a simple RPG title, it is actually more of a thoroughly enjoyable strategy title, with plenty of challenge and many hours of play time.

The stylus controlling can be a little lose at times, sometimes making the gameplay frustrating, but the overall experience is worthy for those looking for a length and at-times challenging strategy RPG on DSiWare. The single-player isn't quite as exciting as it could be, but it's good enough for the price. You also have local and wireless multiplayer that make it even more worth your while.

DSi Browser

By Gaetano Prestia

The original Opera DS Browser was underwhelming to say the least. Charged at the same price as a full DS game, it had slow low times and made surfing the net on your DS almost impossible. Thankfully, the free DSi Browser has been improved on several fronts, namely the speed.

You can check your Yahoo! And Gmail accounts with no problem, and social networking sites MySpace and Twitter work well, although Facebook is inaccessible. There is a lack of Flash support, meaning many sites won’t display properly and RSS feeds support is nowhere to be seen. The layout has been improved, with an address input, searching and favorites buttons all present and easily accessible.

Overall, the Opera DSi Browser is a basic browser for quick Internet surfing. Its free price tag makes it worth the download.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Flight Control

By Gaetano Prestia

Flight Control gives you one of the toughest jobs on the planet as an air traffic controller. Already available on the iPhone, Flight Control is a challenging title that has you plotting pathways for incoming and outgoing aircraft.

The gameplay is fairly simple; use the touch-screen to draw routes for aircraft, all the while ensuring aircraft don't crash into one another. Once you draw a route in, the aircraft will follow it. However, one crash leads to a game over, so you have to be ready and raring to go to ensure you create straight paths for each.

The scoring system rewards you with 1 point per successful routing, with the aim to outscore yourself in every new game. The game gets progressively more difficult as you play, with more aircraft filling the screen at any one moment.

Overall, Flight Control might be lacking in presentation, but it's still a pretty funny game, even though it doesn't offer much in terms of gameplay. It's worth checking out for mindless fun.

We Say
GOOD VALUE

Guitar Rock Tour

By Gaetano Prestia

Guitar Rock Tour is essentially a poor mans Guitar Hero, with a limited track listing and budgeted overall presentation. There are only 15 tracks, with two modes and three levels of difficulty to rock out to.

There are no add-on peripherals, as all the action takes place via the touch-screen. Using the stylus, you tap or strum as you would a real instrument. While it's great fun to have a realistic button add-on to make it so you're actually playing the instrument, the use of the stylus works well for the most part.

The difficulties are fairly consistent, with Easy being for newcomers to the genre, and Hard being for those familiar with music games. The game rewards you for combination and streaks with extra points and features, giving you incentive to try the game on a harder difficulty and rack up some more points.

Quick Play mode is just that - a quick play, while Career mode allows you to lead a new rocker to fame through a variety of locations such as LA and Tokyo. You can choose from a variety of avatars and dress up your rocker as you see fit.

Because there are only 15 songs, unlocking them all is done in no time at all, making the career mode pretty much over after an hour or so. This is disappointing for a music game, especially considering what is on offer from many other titles in the genre.

The game does an OK job of emulating the music and rock star feel, with some decent tracks and visuals, but overall, it feels stale because of the low number of tracks and short career mode. You might get a bit of fun out of it, but there are far better music titles available on the market. Even if for convenience, Guitar Rock Band is not worth your time, as it's a fairly lazy entry to the genre, one that could have been better. It has small moments of greatness, but ultimately fails when it comes to the encore.

Jazzy Billiards

By Gaetano Prestia

Jazzy Billiards feels like the little game that could. On the outside, it looks and plays like a great game. However, delve deeper into its experience and you'll discover a game that is several lacking in originality and fun factor.

The controls are limited but very accessible and for the most part, fun to control. But in their limitations seeps through repetitiveness. The entire game feels like a massively missed opportunity, considering the potential of the DS and its controls and touchscreen.

The game being played is 9-Ball, which is a great choice considering its simplicity and challenge. The aim is to eventually sink the 9 ball, with two players each taking turns to hit the next lowest number before finally reaching the 9.

The game looks fantastic, with some really impressive 3D graphics and some wonderful designs. It's just a shame that the overall experience is lacking. The AI is too easy, the game options aren't as deep as they could be, and the entire gameplay experience feels bare boned. At first glance this is a game with potential, but on further exception, it lacks the originality and depth to make it worthwhile.

Link 'n' Launch

By Gaetano Prestia

Link 'n' Launch is a wonderful and original puzzle title from developer Intelligent Systems. It's a fresh take on the genre, offering something new and enjoyable for fans of puzzle games. It's not the most challenging of games available on the DSi, but it's well worth a look.

The main objective is to launch a rocket into space enough times in order to reach the space target. This isn't as simple as it sounds, as you must inject fuel into the rocket via different shapes of pipes. You must direct the fuel through the correct pipes in order to reach the rocket. You can flip and rotate the pipes to make them fit.

There are three modes to mess around with in Mission Mode, which is as mentioned above, Training Mode and Puzzle Mode, which is the same as Mission Mode only without the time limit.

Link 'n' Launch is a very unique and enjoyable puzzle title. It's original design gives it a fresh twist, and while it doesn't take much thought to master, it's a wonderful addition to the DSiWare service and a game that should please more puzzle fans.

Master of Illusion Express: Deep Psyche

By Gaetano Prestia

Coming in at the low 200 DSiWare points, Deep Psyche is, like the title below, a simple rehash of a game already included in a full-blown game. The main game has you entering your birth date in an 8-digit format and then answer questions, each of which have a certain point tally for each answer. The points are added or subtracted from your birthdate 8-digit number, with the trick being that the final tallied number always ends up being 50807041, or read upside down, "I HOLD 8DS". How fun!

There's another number trick and a crappy little card trick that offer no challenge or excitement/enjoyment whatsoever, so to say that this game isn't worth the 200 points it's priced at would be an enourmous understatement.

We Say
STAY AWAY

Master of Illusion Express: Funny Face

By Gaetano Prestia

Funny Face is pretty much the same game from the original Master of Illusion game on the DS. You've got a bonus game in Disappearing Card included in there as well for a little more value, but unfortunately, neither are really worth the price of admission.

The gameplay is too simple to be enjoyable, with you picking a card and having the game try to pick which card it was. It's a typical pick and guess card game that doesn't offer much enjoyment at all.

You can draw a smiley face on the screen which in turn will announce which are was chosen, but this shouldn't please anyone above the age of 2.

Visually, the game blows in every way. This game is the epitome of the DSiWare service at the start of its life-cycle - dull, with nothing much on offer.

We Say

Mighty Flip Champs

By Gaetano Prestia

Mighty Flip Champs offers a near-perfect fusion of puzzle and platforming elements. It is, surprisingly enough, a highly addictive title, and one of the most entertaining games available on the DS.

The goal is to rescue each of your friends in the level, then return them to the Fishman who in turn transports you to the next level. In order to do this you have to avoid all of the hazards in the maze, meaning you have to flip your DSi around in order to guide the characters along the path.

There are many different gameplay elements to the game, and the touch-screen is implemented well, having you use the stylus to activate the Mark of Champions, which helps you rid the screen of hazards blocking your path.

Mighty Flip Champs is an impressive, challenging and deep puzzle and paltforming title and is one of the most entertaining games available on the system. While a little dearer than most DSiWare titles at 800 points, this is well worth the extra coin.

We Say
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Mixed Messages

By Gaetano Prestia

Mixed Messages is Activision's debut DSiWare title and unfortunately, it's not very good. The game is kind of a mutated form of Chinese whispers, having you retype sentences and draw images exactly as they appear to you. By going by the title of this game, that's obviously easier said than done.

Mixed Messages is better played with four or more people, because any less and the game is very dull. There's no real competitive edge to the title and while it gets slightly more enjoyable, the more people you play it with, it does get old very, very quickly. You might get a few giggles out of some of the actions of your friends, but you'll get over it after a few tries.

Typing out messages are done via the touch-screen and a small keypad that appears on screen, while images are done using the stylus. Up to 21 players can get involved, but good luck finding 21 players who want to sit back and try to retype a paragraph over and over again.

Oscar in Toyland

By Gaetano Prestia

A remake of the game "Trolls", which was released back in 1992 for the Amiga, Super Nintendo and PC and is often considered one of the best games available for the Amiga. Unfortunately, this remake is anything but a good game, failing to live up to its predecessors quality.

The game as a whole is a pretty solid platformer, with decent gameplay elements and a very impressive and colourful presentation. The only thing that brings it down is its unoriginality. It offers nothing new for the genre and at times has the potential to bore. Jumping can at times be difficult, which is disappointing because much of the platforming elements are implemented well. There's a nice collection of collectibles in the game, but it's just a matter of whether or not you'll be willing to play through the entire game to get to them.

Paper Plane

By Gaetano Prestia

Paper Place is a port of an old WarioWare title, good enough to warrant its own spin-off title for the DSiWare service.

The gameplay is simply but highly addictive, as you guide a paper plane down an endless tower. The main aim is to avoid any blocks in the path and to achieve the highest score. The differences in this version is that there are now Time Trial and Race modes, which add a bit of value to the title.

Paper Plane isn't the most revolutionary title out there, but in its simplicity comes plenty of challenge and an addictive nature that calls for your attention. It's great fun to steer the paper plane and try to beat your own personal scores, as well as your friends in the new Race Mode. At 200 points, it's worth the price.

Pop Plus: Solo

By Gaetano Prestia

Pop Plus: Solo is a wonderful puzzle game, having you pop bubbles in order to create more and up your score. As simple as it sounds, the game offers a surprising amount of challenge and value, with quite a few modes and a nice level of depth.

The game is of extremely high quality, both in its presentation and overall difficulty and accessibility. There are eight different modes, of which make up the most of any previous version of the game. You can choose between training, normal, advanced, chill, timed, bonus, adventure and challenge.

Put simply, Pop Plus: Solo is one of the best games available on the service. It's a perfect way to pass the time and at only 500 points, is well worth a purchase.

Pop Superstar: Road to Celebrity

By Gaetano Prestia

Pop Superstar is a solid music rhythm title similar to American Idol on GameBoy Advance. It also has a surprisingly deep story to it, making it a lengthy title that is quite enjoyable.

The game is essentially a port of the mobile phone versions, with similar gameplay and objectives. Besides having to perform well on stage, you also have to network and make friends in order to gain popularity. There's a great level of character interaction and considering the price, accessible gameplay and length, is worth checking out if you're after a budget music title with surprisingly deep story elements.

We Say

Pyoro

By Gaetano Prestia

Pyoro is a simple title that was first seen as an unlockable game in the first WarioWare title five years ago. You control Pyoro on the botton of the screen and use his tounge to catch falling beans. It’s a simple game that can get addictive quickly and at only 200 Points is worth it if you’re after a thoughtless game to pass the time.

The game begins easy but eventually becomes unbelievably hard, dictating your full attention and dedication. The gameplay itself is simple but the challenge incorporated into the game is quite impressive. While the game itself is nothing revolutionary, it offers enough challenge for a younger crowd to keep them entertained. However, it might not be enough for those looking for a game with a bit of depth.

We Say
GOOD VALUE

Rayman

By Gaetano Prestia

Rayman has to be one of the most disappointing titles available on the DSiWare system. A big-name platforming franchise makes its way to the downloading service, only to offer a mediocre experience.

The enemy AI is dull and enemies respawn once you move across the screen, meaning if you head back the way you came from, enemies will be back in that direction. The poor camera makes playing at times unbearable, as it snaps to and from the action without warning.

Yet the biggest problem with Rayman is that it feels like a big rush job. The gameplay feels stone-age and not at all like the Rayman gameplay we remember from years back. The porting over to the DSi hardware has brought the quality down significantly, meaning the experience is definitely not worth taking. Considering the abundance of 2D platformers available on the DS already, this is one game you should steer way clear of.

We Say

Real Football 2009

By Gaetano Prestia

Real Football 2009 is the first Premium title available on DSiWare. It's practically the same game that was released in 2008, but with more National and International squads. There are six different cups and leagues to choose from, as well as a penalty shoot-out and exhibition modes.

The controls are pretty much what you'd expect from a football title and haven't changed all that much over the past ten years. The DSi camera is put to good use, allowing you to put your own face or anything else you want onto the actual game ball, which is a cool little feature. However, because of the low graphical quality, the pictures are often very difficulty to make out.

What's great about this title is that it's only 800 points and is practically a full-blown handheld football title. There's also a great online Wi-Fi connectability feature so you can play with your mates. The controls are very smooth and fluid, and if you're a football fan looking for a great handheld football title for on-the-go gaming, this is the title for you. It's great value.

Reflect Missile

By Gaetano Prestia

Reflect Missile is as simple a game as its namesake. It's incredibly easy to learn and at only 500 points, has to be one of the best value games available on the DSiWare service. The gameplay is simple enough, having you control a small ship that shoots out missiles to destroy the blocks above. There are three different types of missiles you can use - one blows up several blocks at a time, one bounces back to you and the other drills through several blocks.

There may be some comparisons to other earlier puzzle games, but Reflect Missile does a great job of feeling original, offering plenty of challenge and some 200 stages. It gets increasingly difficult as you play, with collecting every single medal in the game requiring a hell of a lot of thinking.

Reflect Missile is, surprisingly enough, one of the best games available on the service. A fantastic puzzle game that deserves your purchase and time. It is perfectly fitted to the hardware.

We Say
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Robot Rescue

By Gaetano Prestia

Robot Rescue is the type of game that defines "pick up and play". It can't be played in long spans, which hurts its value a bit, but is great for a quick spurt of gameplay.

As the title says, the main aim is to rescue robots that are caught in a maze. You hold the DSi like as if you were holding a book, directing the robots through the maze using the d-pad. The trick is that every robot on the screen moves in sync with one another, meaning moving one robot will move every other robot in need of rescue. Because of this, it can be quite challenging the more robots you have on the screen, so you really need to think and be patient, as this isn't necessarily a game that can be rushed.

In saying that, Robot Rescue is not a game you'll want to put much effort into. The presentation is disappointing and the actual gameplay is severely lacking. The idea is good enough and there is a great platform for a decent puzzle game, but it ultimately fails with dull gameplay.

2-in-1 Solitaire

By Gaetano Prestia

Don't expect to get an incredible amount of value for a game of Solitaire. There aren't many options to play around with, but you do have both Spider and Klondike versions of the card game to mess around with. There are multiple difficulty settings, which is great, but chances are if you buy this game you already know how to play it, so challenge isn't all that important to you.

There's nothing overly original about the presentation or gameplay, although there is a fantastic save feature that allows you to save in-game whenever you need to quit. This allows you to stop a game and go back to it at a later date, which makes playing on the run wonderful.

2-in-1 Solitaire is as simple as you can get. It only takes up 2 blocks and costs only 200 points, meaning it's great value if you're after a solid card game for your DS. Don't expect much in terms of originality, though.

Uno

By Gaetano Prestia

Surprisingly better than Uno on Wii, Uno on DSiWare controls fairly well, with an improved interface and a great online multiplayer. The amount of content isn't huge, but what more can you expect from a game of Uno?

The only thing you should be considering is whether or not you'll be playing this online with friends elsewhere, as the local option is useless considering you can just play with a real deck of cards.

Viking Invasion

By Gaetano Prestia

Viking Invasion is a very solid tower defense title, offering extremely solid gameplay and complex tactical gameplay aspects.

The enemies are varied in strength and attack, which adds a whole lot of challenge to the experience, and there's quite a lot of upgrades available to keep you playing it for a while. It might be one of the more expensive games available for DSiWare, but it has plenty of value for the price. It's not an absolute must-have, but you can get a hell of a lot of play time out of this title if it's your thing. There's plenty of content her, as well as challenge and some rather interesting gameplay techniques.

WarioWare: Snapped!

By Gaetano Prestia

The WarioWare series has turned into a popular mini-games franchise that has really grown since first appearing on the GBA. With Wario Ware Snapped!, we get a DSi- exclusive title that maintains the look and feel of the series, albeit with some minor problems.

Snapped is one of the first DSiWare titles to use the internal camera and while some of the mini-games work well with it, the unreliability and slow response times of the camera ruin the experience. The camera is a concept that can take off like the EyeToy so hopefully future uses are more successful. While cheap at only 500 Points, Snapped! is an incredibly short game that lacks the ability to save funny montages, decreasing the overall value of the title.

Overall, Wario Ware Snapped! looks and feels like a WarioWare title, but fails to live up to the quality of its predeccesors.

Why don't they update the list? It's not much use anymore as the more recent games aren't there!

They say they will update the list each week (is it just me or does this week seem to be getting longer and longer? )

I think people type like that to make the sentences shorter and faster to type; just like how you write "2" and "yo'" instead of "to" and "your"...

last time i checked, last week, i think asphalt 4 is 800points and real football 2009 is 800points.. choose wisely

and of course, the web browser is a must! why? ITS FREE and if you don't
have an iphone,laptop/notebook etc to use if your family's hogging the comp, its ideal and if you have facebook, you can download an app where you can upload your pics from your dsi to facebook fast..

and there was a rumour that downloads could change prices

Fawhad said: Ok So DSiWares games are pretty crap (no point denying it because, deep down, we know its true). But it looks like, with the soon-to-be released PSP Go, Sony's PSP Go and Nintendos DSi will be in direct competetion as they will both have some sort of "App Store". Hopefully Nintendo will relise this and make really great games for DSiWare, even simply adding old SNES and GBA classics on the store will be a major improvement and will seriously make people buy DSi's.

I don't think they're "crap". Some are good. But I do agree with the whole VC thing. The DS can handle that. Even some NES games. I'd like to play the original LoZ or Super Mario Brothers.
