Taito have revealed Space Invaders Extreme Z for DSiWare, the downloadable version of their Space Invaders Extreme series. It has also been released for Japanese download on the same day (being yesterday).

The DSiWare version of the game includes many of the features from Space Invaders Extreme 2 for the Nintendo DS, but only contains three courses with time attack and score attack modes for each course.

Space Invaders Extreme Z is selling for 500 Nintendo Points currently in Japan. The game release hasn't been announced for other regions yet, but will probably occur next year.
