The New YouTube Medal

Most of you would be familiar with our long running Youtube medal, and I'm sure most of you would have already have this medal as part of your collection. So rather than just pull the plug on the old Youtube medal we decided to give it a little freshen up, the basic principal is the same but now an extra requirement is required. Read on to find out more.



How to get one:

 • 1 - Sign up for a Youtube account if you don't already have one.
 • 2 - Go to www.youtube.com/ and become a friend of the MyMediaGames channel
 • 3 - You will also need to subscribe to MyMediaGames channel (also at the above link)
 • 4 - Add a link to this site in your channel description, it can be anywhere on your page it doesn't matter as long as you have a link to this site.

Here's an example.

Note: I have more than one MyMedia site listed, you only have to add a link to the site you are trying to get the Youtube medal on.

We couldn't remake the Youtube medal and leave the poor Digg Medal untouched could we? So here it is the all new Digg Medal, read on to find out more.



This New Digg Medal is basically the same as the previous one but this time round we want you to Digg some newer articles.

How to get one:

 • Firstly those who are not familiar with what Digg is, you can get started by signing up here digg.com/ Just follow the steps to create your account.
 • Take a look in our News section, Articles section and Reviews section and you'll see articles that have the Digg tag displayed in the corner.

Example of an article with a Digg tag

 • Use that Digg tag to "Digg" the article and work your way to Digging a total of 10 articles.
 • Collect the links (the digg.com links) to the articles you Dugg and post them in here.
 • Wait patiently for an admin to check your submission and to issue you your medal.

How Do I Get It?
To get this nice looking Shy Guy Medal in your profile, all you need to do is the following:
 • Add 5 pictures to the Gallery
 • Add 2 Videos
 • Add 1 News Article

Make sure all of the pictures you submit abide by the MyDS Gallery Guidelines: myds.com.au/
Also make sure the videos are gaming Related and the News Articles are your own work. Copy and pasting News Articles is not allowed.. Anyone who submits content that is against the rules will not be eligible for the Medal. Take your time, try to avoid posting news that has already been covered. News must be of adequate length and have something to do with gaming, videos must be related to gaming somehow and that also applies to pictures.

30 Medals are going to be given out.

Just press the big "get started--Join" button and follow the instructions to make a Twitter account if you don't already have one.
 • Enter MyMediaGames into the search bar to look us up.

 • Once you have found us press the "follow" button!
