Bakgan Battle Brawlers The DS Version!?!? - 9/10

Bakugan Battle Brawlers has finally hit the game waves. During this game you play as your own person (only male!?!?!) and you have to play your way to the top ten and above. You start off my meeting Dan in the park and when he leaves you get to meet your own personal talking Bakugan (I my case I got a Haos Leonidas) that isn’t all that it seems and you play your way through the game. You get to meet and battle the ‘Battle Brawlers’, even though they don’t like you at first (well, all of them but Dan) and you battle Masquerade and a new person to the evils gang controlled by Naga, Marduk. You battle your way through all of the tournaments and collect medals along the way. You can buy all new Bakugan, gate cards and ability cards from Alice at the store!

Story~~9/10

You play through most of the story you know what you are doing but at times for me it got a little boring and the story part of the game is really short and I thought that that could have been a little longer than it was. But other than that the story line is really great because you don’t know what is going to happen next. I was also kinda sad that they fact that the Brawlers kinda plot against you until the very end of the story and that Alice wasn’t in the game as much...

Controls~~9.5/10

This games controls are really easy to use and are so easy that my 4 year old cousin can play this game. You mainly use your touch screen when you are in a brawl. Throwing and battling are the main uses during brawling that you use the touch screen. When in the main area of the game I found it easier to use the buttons on the DS. Brawling can be really hard though, when you brawl there are tasks that you have to do to help you win, so it don’t matter what our Bakugans G’s are you can still win. Mainly the task you have to do included having to have really good hand eye coordination... e.g. popping your elementals symbol, tracing ect. And there were a few easier ones as well... e.g. just ribbing on your elemental symbol and drawing a figure eight.

Graphics~~8 /10

The graphics in this game are alright but they could have been a lot better in my eyes. Mainly the look of the Bakugan in general could have been better. The places that you battled looked great but at times the look of the Bakugan just was bad. I know that my Leonidas looked really bad until it evolved.

Overall~~ 9/10

This is a great game and I think all those how love Bakugan will love this game. And even if you don't like or haven't seen the show before than I recommend this game to you as well. You will have a hole lot of fun playing this game!?!?!
