The empty space where my 360 used to be. *tear*cry*tear*
So as of many you undoubtedly know, my 360 decided to take a little break from alcohol fueled COD 4 sessions and hit the bricks. By doing so, it left me only with a Playstation 3 and four games, only one of which - Ratchet and Clank - has entertained me enough to play for longer than 20 minutes. It's not that I don't like the PS3, but everything you can get on it is also available on th 360 and the PSN does absolutely nothing for me, especially considering how wonderful the XBOX Live Marketplace is. 99% of my Playstation 3 use has come through its Blu-Ray playback.
I sent my 360 in to get fixed last week and I was told I would get it back by Thursday at the latest. So that would be 6 days without a 360. I actually got a PM from a My360 user last night asking "What's with the sudden bombardment with posts?" I answered with "360 + AIDS = death". I think I may have made him believe that I had AIDS and that I was soon to die because my increased play-time of my XBOX 360 had caused me to grow weak.
I don't have AIDS people. At least I don't think I do. Here's hoping, hey?
I have Beautiful Katamari for XBOX 360 sitting next to me, waiting to be played and reviewed, but I can't do that until I get the godliness that is my 360 console back. I love Katamari and haven't played a game in the series since the PSP version a few years back, so I've been waiting for this for a while. The demo is available now on XBOX Live, but it's over in just under 3 minutes (Literally. There is a time limit). It gives you a good sense of the controls though and if you're familiar with the games you should be pleased with what this version has to offer.
To add to my wonderful week, yesterday I received an email from Telstra Bigpond that informed me I had gone over my 25 GB download limit and that my speed would be capped until the 3rd of March. When I was on a 10 GB plan I always went over, but in the 3 months I've had this plan, it's the first time.
I can't help but wonder, "WTF DID I DOWNLOAD!?"
