MyBluRay.com.au unofficially launched the other day. It's a part of MyMedia that I've been highly anticipating (as I'm sure my collegues can also confirm). While I do have a passion for games, film and everything that has to do with film is my main passion. If you said I was excited about MyBluRay, that would probably be the understatement of the century.

I'll be very busy from Monday onwards uploading discs and trailers. Feel free to sign up to the site then and talk about your favourite flicks and Blu-Ray discs in the forum.

I have my own little interpretation and hopes for MyBluRay and I thought I'd go through all of them with you. Firstly, I'm really looking forward to hearing people talk about something else but games. It will be good to see everyone's movie choices and opinions. I also have a whole bunch of ideas for content in the future. This ranges from Blu-Ray disc reviews, the BD Players and Home Theater set-up recommendations. If you have any personal ideas for content, PM me or email me at gaetano@mymedia.net.au.

As for the forums, I think the crowd is going to be a lot older then what the basis seems to be at the other sites in the network. Hopefully we can attract some really dedicated film and DVD/Blu-Ray enthusiasts to the forums. It will be good to get some heated up film debate going

If you're going to submit a Blu-Ray disc to the site, please ensure you do the following:

Ensure it has actually been announced for Blu-Ray and there is box-art of the actual Blu-Ray cover.
Write up a brief summary of the film.
Gather the disc specifications. bluray.highdefdigest.com/ is a good source for that.
Find a trailer for the film at youtube.com and add it to the Trailers section on the site. Ensure you choose the film from the pull-down menu.
