The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed the third installment of Rune Factory for DS. The new protagonist Maisu designed by Tetsuya Nomura has the ability to transform into monsters allowing him to gain different abilities in battle and interact differently with other characters outside of battle. The game features active seeds that grow into plants that can be used in battle. Rune Factory 3 releases in Japan late 2009, no Australian release date has been announced.
