Ok, so what is it about the DS and animals? First we had Nintendogs, cute and cuddly little mongrels. Then there were cats, penguins, and many other furry creatures. The latest of God's creatures to come to the DS is the horse.

Although there have been previous DS games featuring the hardworking horse, this new offering is titled "My Horse and Me", announced by Atari.

This is a horseback riding and equestrian lifestyle type of game, much like the competitions held during the summer olympics. The game boasts horse models that are anatomically accurate (in case you can't tell the head from the rear end) and features magnificent surroundings both indoors and outdoors. Makes you want to mount black beauty and prance around the meadows.

You will be able to practice your horse riding skills and compete both locally and in global competitions. And yes, it wouldn't be from Nintendo if it didn't include mini-games.
