Spectrobes was released to mixed reactions, but Disney Interactive Studios must have done something right as the game did manage to draw a lot of fans and it's now been announced that Spectrobes 2 is on it's way.

It is currently slated for release in the US in 2008 (Autumn/Fall in the US which will be Spring in AUS)

At this stage there is no information on whether Spectobes 2 will take advantage of Disney's other new announcement, the D gamer network.
