THQ claim that a sequal to Zoo Tycoon on DS was a given considering the unexpected success of the original.

While the aim of the game will stay the same, there will be some gameplay improvements and additions to the sequal, which is expected to hit the handheld in early-2008.

While the original was met with less than impressive reviews from critics, you can't help but wonder about the possibilities these sim games have on a handheld like the DS.
