Nintendo has announced the new silver version of its DS Lite handheld takeoff from October 12 in Europe. The silver DS Lite is the fourth colour of the previous lineup of black, white, and pink DS models and its arrival will no doubt come as great news to robots, but probably less so to werewolves. So far, Nintendo has sold more than 14 million DS units across Europe and titles for the handheld are quite literally flying off shelves of their own volition. For instance, sales of More Brain Training from Dr. Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain? are close to hitting the million mark while Pokemon Diamond and Pearl have shifted 1.6 million copies in the seven weeks since their launch. If each cartridge is capable of transforming into tiny mind-controlling spider robots at the touch of a button in Nintendo HQ, we're all doomed. Nintendo DS Lite Silver will retail for 99GBP when its hits stores across Europe on October 12 which means it should be coming over to Oz very soon as well!
