News \ Eco-Creatures: Save the Forest
In this game, due in the US in 2008, you play Dorian, an apprentice wizard. Dorian's home, Mana Wood is being destroyed by robots from a nearby kingdom. Your job is to save the forest by recruiting the woodland animals and sending them into battle against the robots.
The RTS style is simple and forgoes resource management and tactics for speed:
Case in point: fuzzy colorful animals. Sure we're fighting a giant stomping robot, but we're doing it with an army of pink squirrels that are just so gosh darn adorable!
You can control one of three different troops or Dorian using the touchscreen. As they gain experience you can select new skills for your troops. Dorian also gains experience and special abilities.
The game has single- and multi-card play and WiFi for even more fun.
