News \ Doctor Who DS Details Emerge

Details of the rumored Doctor Who NDS game have emerged during GamesMaster's exclusive talk with Edios Interactive.

As reported earlier this year on MyDS, advertising has been appearing for sometime with the Doctor Who Trading Card packs and it seems Edios' title will be taking a card game approach to the gameplay.

In a mix of the shows universe and the card game Top Trumps, a max of two players can take down characters from the show in an epic battle of stats and cards, with character talents playing a part as well. Doctor Who bends time to look at opponents cards. Hopefully that works better than TimeShift's manipulation controls. Ergh.

Little is known at the moment but it looks like the Doctor's fans and card gamers alike may be in for a treat.

nyltiak the classic series of Doctor Who is one of the greatest shows ever made. It lasted for 26 years I don't think any show that lasts that long can be lame. It is brilliant I have currently 42 classic Dr Who dvds at home but your probably someone who can't watch a sci fi show with out CGI effects. Me on the other hand comes to accept what they had in terms of effects was brilliant for the times. Although this game does seem pretty lame I want a proper adventure game not a card game.
