What type of gamer are you? Do you fall into the casual gamer category perhaps enjoying the occasional game of Wii Sports, Singstar or Brain Training or are you a hardcore gamer with one goal and one goal only to Pwn all you Noobs!? Some people have already chosen which of those two they belong to but there will be many of you that fit in somewhere in between, meet the Mid-core Gamer.

8bitrocket.com have coined the term Mid-core gamer which is best described as someone who is considered a casual gamer by hardcore gamers and considered a hardcore gamer by casual gamers. While you may own all of the or a majority of the current generation consoles or maybe just one of them you don't have to time to game hours on end every night and might not finish every single game you buy, yes this is a Mid-core gamer.
