Empire Interactive will be bringing the action/puzzle solving game Unsolved Crimes to the DS, better get your thinking caps on.

Set in 1970's New York players are cast in the role of a rookie homicide detective. Along with your partner you are assigned the task of solving the kidnapping of aspiring model Betsy Blake.

Players will be able to use the touch screen to trace routes, marks and memos as well as other suspicious items found at the crime scene as they find clues and solve puzzles. Along with the kidnapping of Blake there will be 8 independent cases as well as 5 action games that relate back to the main story.

Unsolved Crimes should make an appearance sometime in the second half of the year. Screen shots that were made available along with the press release announcing the game can be seen below.
