Atari UK has announced a forthcoming release titled : Driving Theory Training. The program is designed to teach the player the road rules based on the standards in the UK. It will allow the player to revise the rules and take virtual tests while on the go. This will be a great simulation of the actual test as the questions are devised from the real test database. The program is aimed at "P" platers (aussie equivalent) who can benefit from revision, graphs, mini games and questions and answers relating to vehicles. Everything from speed limits to stopping distances are covered. Atari has designed this package to help the user get an in depth knowledge of all the rules instead of them just memorizing a few questions. Apart from all the rules the application also has some fun driving related games. Driving Theory Training is due for release around July. Based on how well all the other training type games have sold, I can easily see this being brought to Australia and revised for our road rules. With the Aussie version it should feature a mini game to see how long you can hoon before you get your car impounded!!
