It recently appeared in an interview on ESPN that Former Green Bay Packer Star and national legend, Brett Farve would appear on the cover of Madden NFL 09. After starting over 243 consecutive games, Farve announced his retirement this past March, after being eliminated in the conference championship by the Champion New York Giants. Though retired, we may still see Brett on our TV screens.

Farve may have agreed to a cover appearence now that he is retired because it is rumored that any NFL player who appears on the Cover of Madden, their career will be ruined by bad play and injury. Maybe the former Quaterback doesn't believe in Superstition
