Above is the Boxart of Sonic RPG. By clicking on the source site URL below, it takes you to the official Nintendo website, where it is listed that the game is set for a U.S. release date of around Fall (or Autumn) 2008.

The Nintendo site also speaks of a party system, which is likely to do with the stylus-opperated gameplay. Also announced is 11 playable charecters. (Screenshots show Sonic, Amy, Tails, Knuckles, Cream, and Rouge). Though also stated on the site, there will be new charecters.

Suprisingly, the game will also have online play, mostly of trading chao, and for those who don't know, are small life forms seen throught sonic games.
