Twentieth Century Fox have recently made a deal with 505 Games so that Buffy the Vampire can now be on DS. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Sacrifice is currently Undergoing Development by Romanian Studios.

Buffy's new games will be made up of third-person and first-person gameplay which creates an experience like no other. Gamers will take the role of Buffy and try to seal shut the re-opened Hellmouth. The writer for this game will be Rob Deshotel, the writer from the TV Series.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for 505 Games and we’re working extremely closely with Fox to ensure this is the definitive Buffy the Vampire Slayer experience,” said Rowan Tafler, Global Brand Manager, 505 Games. “Buffy’s return to videogames is great for long-time fans of the franchise and we hope the huge market reach of the Nintendo DS will help to create new fans too.”

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Sacrifice will be available in shops in Novemeber
2008.
