there are a heap of pokemon games that are hacks of real games with wierd pokemon, these include:
pokemon shinygold
pokemon quartz
pokemon oceanblue
pokemon aqua
pokemon diamente
pokemon amythest
etc etc...
so if you see a suspicious one it is probably a hack
they work fine and some work with the original games gameshark codes but are not official
in someof them the pokemon (or hacked equivilant) will appear in different areas so some people use it as a way to get rare pokemon easily
