The first Nintendo handheld gameboy i was given was the big grey brick one for my birthday, cant remember what year tho.
It was back in my primary school days.
My sister and i had matching ones complete with grey bricky case that held games and batteries and the headphones, lolz.

A few years b4 that my sister was given an orange Donkey kong game, but she broke it not long afta getting it

With each new gameboy that came out i up just had to have the latest.
Now i've love my ds.
I orignally got a pink one, but when the ice blue came out i bought that one too, and gave the pink to my sista 4 her bday, she was 26

I had the Nintendo Game and Watch Egg Catch, then the 2 screen Donkey Kong Jnr, the Gameboy, the Gameboy Pocket, The Gameboy Colour, the GBA and the NDSL.

Not to mantion the Sega GameGear (yeah, I know, what was I thinking?!?!?) and my brother had the Atari Lynx.

And that's just the portable stuff. (Don't get me started on the home console, and my forever fave the SNK Neogeo AES)

My Mum bought me a GBA (as in the origonal one not the square one, not the damn micro one!) because I was just sad, then later on in my life I took out an advance on my pocket money and bought a DS because I got swaid in by all the awesomeness (I bought my DS 3 weeks after it came out and when it was expensive!), 20 weeks of $10 out of my pocket, and I haven't touched it since mid 2006. Oh and I have a panorama screen Donkey Kong JR original Game and Watch, it's one of my prised possesions!

I owned: Donkey Kong & donkey kong jnr, and Super Mario Bros. I have had a gameboy since day one, remember i had it on layby and it came with tetris. I have had every gameboy since then (except mini). At the moment there are two GB colours, an original advance and I think there is an advanced SP in the house. Of course there are two DS (mine & my 14 year old daughters).
