Zelda, is placed in the medievil ages..while tomb raider is place in the more modern ages. The main difference in these two games is realy the gameplay you get out. In Zelda, there is alot more gameplay that you can get out of it, more people appeal to its style of play, yet Tomb Raider is just another 3rd person shooting game....except your a chik

Zelda has been around longer and has gathered more fans, so as each new installment gets released, Zelda fans get excited about what will be new in the next installment. I can't say I'm a big fan of Tomb Raider because the only version I got into was back on the Sega Saturn, I didn't mind it but what put me off was spending heaps of time learning all the special jumps, flips and so on. I'm sure all the later version must be better but I never had a chance to play them.
