Heaps of doctors play games. there was a bit of research done that shows doctors who play console games make fewer mistakes.

Playing games can help improve hand eye coordination, I remember reading an article about it when I was at school, I showed this article to mum in an attempt to prove to her I wasn't wasting my time playing games so much.
