Yes that's true. EB Games won't let you trade imported games. I sell them on Ebay and I get more money (after transaction costs).

Overseas sellers are also putting games on the local ebay site and that is another source of purchasing games.

I am trying to fund my gaming habits in the most cost effective manner.

I purchase my DS games at about $52 imported and new. I can realistically sell them in the mid-thirties (after transaction costs) and hence I do make a loss but lots of play time.
