Ok... where to start.

Just had a little chat with Guyver on msn and we are thinking of canning clans on MyDS.com.au

Drastic yes, but i would like to see one of you, from either clan tell me that you have in the past 3 months had a tourny where a large group of people turned up. Simply, we don't have the member capacity to host 2 clans, going their own ways.

If we join them together and just have a neutral thing where anyone can enter and turn up, we get more people for the same thing, more comps, more everything!

Metroid is scrapped this w/e for the MyDS clan, we will still be hosting Mario kart and i encourage everyone! to turn up, it's in the other thread what time, and if you still don't know, PM me.

Please feel free to leave your input on this discussiona dn ask any questions you would like to have answered. This is still in discussion phase as i haven't even talked to MrDS about this.

Clans on MyDS.com.au are hereby disbanded, Tournaments and competitions will still happen globally on the site. Stay tuned for further updates

We may though keep MyDS clan as the OFFICIAL clan to make it more official and people more committed, but we will see how it goes.

Well that's what we are aiming for, clans are not bad, they are simply not adaptable to the lifestyle of this site, we don't have the capacity to run 2 clans, that's halving the people, not to menchan the ones that don't turn up

Well that's what we are aiming for, clans are not bad, they are simply not adaptable to the lifestyle of this site, we don't have the capacity to run 2 clans, that's halving the people, not to menchan the ones that don't turn up

I'm most worried because in the MYDS clan most were very motivated! But in the KING clan I have seen 1 or 2 people show up to tournaments if we get rid of clans we will just end up with a whole new bunch of no shows...

No because KinG couldn't even get more then a few members to do anything, they are dead really, leaving 1 clan. There is no point for a clan then, and if so it's just more a group.

Have a group of people closer and all governed by the one place, makes it more official, less complications, means some noobs can turn up too maybe jumping our numbers. If i see an increase in productivity of how it is all going i will split it into 2 clans again later on possibly.

Again, how it was with 2 clans and one massively dominant just wasn't working. Can't lose by doing something new

In the future it could be 2 different coloured MYDS clans, like MYDS Black and MYDS Purple, that people dont pick but are assigned, like every person that joins is automattically in one, and everything is free for all but every now and then is a clan battle, but clan battles dont have to exist at all. so yeh, if u understand me

i like the idea i was thinking the same thing but i just don't like the name it should be called something like the WiFi clan because it makes it look like your getting rid of one clan not meshing them together. Etwee is also right i mean there was pride in being in a clan. but one thing that anoys me would have to be that my badge never got put up. i asked like 5 months ago it doesnt take 5 months to ask for the badges to be put up. i know it might take awhile but it doesnt take anywhere near 5 months
