you could always use planes & hover crafts, but now there is a better multiplayer mode including battle & online races.

You would also be getting the better version, as the multiplayer aspect wasnt as good as mario kart however DKR single player was far superior to mario karts, good to see nintendo have at least made an attempt to copy it with the "missions" in mario kart DS.

You could a 64 cheaper than that i saw one on ebay for $8.00 and nobody had bid on it!
