Animal Crossing Stories-Fishing Contest

I woke up feeling ready for the day. I went to talk to Vesta. She was carrying A fishing rod and had a wide grin on her face. "I'm gonna win the fishing contest for sure!" She exclaimed I just realised that the Fishing Contest was on!

I ran Over to Tortimer who told me the record holders, and their record holding fish. "Amelia has cought a 26 inch Black Bass." He said with enthusiasm."There no way you can beat that!"
I had to act fast! I went to the beach and cast my line. Nothing. I picked the worst time to go fishing, all the fish were migrating at this time of year. I was still able to catch a few though. They got close, but none were as Big as Amelia's. She had won. I congratulated her but she just laughed in my face. And as if that wasn't bad enough, i got stung by bees.....

All you needed was one sea bass to get something around 40 Inches.
I caught a 46 inch sea bass in the contest but someone caught a 65 inch Coelacanth and beat me.

Animal Crossing Stories-Can't wait 'til Spring!

I looked around. I saw nothing bot snow. My lips trembled as I shivered. Im sick of Winter. I had to buy A fireplace just to keep warm, and I bet I'm just going to seel it during Spring anyway. Ahhh, Spring. The Flowers, the Birds, the fish and most of all: The bugs! The only Bug I ever caught during winter was a fly! Whenever I walk into the bug section of the museum that's all I ever see: A stupid Little fly staring back at me. For once I'd like to catch a dung beatle! My friends always say: ' Lets have race to see who can catch a dung beatle first!' But none of us ever find anything. I guess you could say it's a bug shortage.

Well that wont be the case in Spring! Only A few more days and I can finnally catch a dung beatle!!! (even though there absolutely disgusting and I hate them, I still want to catch one!)

I could only find 4 bugs during winter. If I left a pile of garbage on the ground I could attract a fly. You have to creep around to get a ****roach and a dung beetle. ****roach's where on the trunk of tree's and dung beetles would roll your snow balls instead of dung so all you had to do was look for a moving snow ball. Pill bugs could be found by taping rocks with the spade, they would jump out and you just change to the net and grab them.

Animal crossing Stories- Spring in my step

Spring had started,and it was turning out great!I caught three butterflys and a horse mackeral!I used my slingshot to catch three floating presents and everything looked beautiful! But something ruined everything.... My battery was running low. I hadn't noticed and then it died...I quickly put it on my charger and continued playing but: M R R E S S E T I!!! Mr Resseti had got me. "Hey are you the one who didn't save?!!" He screamed. "Heym, Don't think you just do whatever you want! It may be a free country but some things are sill not alowed!!!!" He went on and on and on. He seemed to go for almost three hours! He put me off playing Animal Crossing when my battery is low...

Animal Crossing Stories- BORED

Unfortunately, I was bored. I had nothing to do. Most of my days consisted of me hitting my enemies over the head with a net. They hated it. Which is why I loved it.

I had never been to another town, nor have I had any visitors. Being WI-FI-less sucked. and that was the least of problems. My Bell balance has changed from 14,000 for at least two months. I was dull and my friends could tell. My home hadn't changed in three weeks, which meant I always got the worst scores for my house.

The worst probably had to be the weeds. When I felt like uprooting them, it took a full thirty minutes!!!

Is this the end of fun for Animal Crossing?.....

A game basically based on nothing but choirs and mundane tasks is sure to lose most of its fun fast.

With the occasional event here and there (new years Eve is so cool!) it can only be play very casually.

I know what you mean... The first time I played it I though this is so crap. Then you know what..... I actually gave it a go. This became one of the most addictive games I have played in a long time. The challenge to get all the fish, all the bugs, all the fossils, pay off your mortgage multiple times. Trying to get exotic fruit to grow in your town. Making friends with your village characters and welcoming new members to your village. Decorating your house, buying and selling stuff. Just the relaxing sound of the waves while fishing on the beach is great.

I don't think 1 day was near enough. I am so glad that I did not take this back. Visiting other peoples village locally and online gives you another angle to the game. Fishing and bug catching challenges are good.

I am a retro gamer from long back and have been gaming for 30 years and I found this title to be excellent.

You did not give it enough of your time and now you miss out big time.

Animal Crossing Stories- Issue One

Saturday 5th of July

Today I was feeling excited and refreshed... Until I saw that obnoxious business man outside my house. He said he could put me in a contest to win a free holiday. I just walked away.
I bumped into my good pal Butch. He was like the fatherly figure in the neighborhood. He always seemed to be yelling at me though; "What the HECK did you want anyway!?"
He said I should clean my house before he arrived to do something about the flea market. Then I remembered that today was the day for the Flea Market! I had never participated in one before but I was confident and willing to learn.

The sun was shining bright it was noticeable that the rainy season had just finished today. I put my umbrella away and hurt a very strange sound coming from all around me. I finally recognized the sound: it was a cicada! I spotted a few on the trees. My net had too much drag when I swung so it would never catch it! In the end of it I did manage to catch one brown cicada and one horned beetle.

I entered Whitney's house for no particular reason and she looked as though she was trying to act like the shopkeeper Nook. She was selling some of her stuff. So this was the flea market and it wasn't too great. She tried to sell me her sofa for 2,000 bells, but she was clearly ripping me off. And everything else reeked of rip-off.
I left.
