For MP, if you don't play it after a while, you'll lose skill in it, that and once you finish it, the only good thing is multiplayer once you've completed the stuff.
For PH, you'll probably be able to remember it altogether, although once you reached a certain amount of achievements, the game kinda is a drag.
If you're going to be loyal to MP, then wifi'ing/friend comm is your way to go.
