General \ Worn Out Franchises

What are the most worn out franchises you can think of?

The franchise games that keep coming back time and time again! But are so worn out that they stopped being fun.

I'll start it off by saying: Pokemon.

Now I know a lot of fans will argue but the truth is, It stopped being fun years ago.

What other franchises can you think of?

I hate to say it but sonic seems a bit worn out for a different reason in that the games are just bad, they used to be good but since going 3D no matter what Sega do it doesn't turn out right.

Yes pokemon is getting bad also the Non- handheld versions of pokemon are getting boring. Also Fire embelem is really bad this timw the wii had a bad review it was terrible and i was hoping a ds version of fire embelem but i don't see one. Fire embelem is getting dissapointing.
