Well to start off yes i'm 15 and have a job.

This is a thread about if you like your job. From the presure to the bordem etc. Now I bet your asking why? Well it is to just see weather some people who work like the job and some people who don't like there job. Also I would like to know what job you work as and such.

Me I work at Mcdonalds and yes it is my first. I like it because I find it easy. I work in two different areas. The back and The cashier. I enjoy the back area because I do more than one task rather than talking. If you don't have a job for some reaon don't post in this thread because it is going of topic.

I've had various jobs, from fruit picking to construction to IT, and haven't liked many of them. The main thing that decides whether you enjoy a job or not is the people around you; have a crappy job with great people around you and chances are, you'll stay for at least a while.

Right now I work in a restaurant, mainly in the bar. The staff are all great, unfortunately I can't control who comes through the door as a customer. The difference between a good night or a bad night is not how busy it gets or how many margaritas I make, it's usually one rude customer.

Working at Australian Unity is the best for people who wanna settle down. I was a web programmer there for my industry scholarship last year. You can start late and make up the time later, have a lunch break at any time, there's a trolly that passes by on every floor serving brunch, free fruit every Wednesday, morning tea on Thursdays, free booze on Fridays. But the work was a bit too easy for my liking. So not for people who like to be challenged.

I have a part-time/casual job as a cleaner at my local vet. Between every day it's open, (not open on sundays) I have to walk there, vacuum and mop the floors. So that means I can do it in the morning, or the night before.

I like that it's flexible, I have a fairly big window in which I can do it. But, because of daylight savings it's too dark at night so I have to get up early and do it before breakfast, which sucks.

I like that it pays well, and I don't have to talk to people. I can just chill and listen to music.

I don't like the whole getting up early thing, and if I didn't have an expensive hobby (gaming), I probably wouldn't do it.

I'm an information officer for a government department. I have a love/hate relationship with my job. There are parts of my job which are wonderful. I travel around the state (NSW) going to expos and trade shows... and then there's the other part where I'm stuck in the office taking phone calls, going to meetings and answering a never ending stream of email enquiries.

Right now it's part B and I'm m i s e r a b l e.

I just finished my work experience at "Dick Smith" i liked working there. when i was 13 i had a job at "Hungry Jacks" for 3 months, i didn't like it much but i was making $100 - $200 a week, (amazingly i spent it all on my ds). i would LOVE a job as an admin for this site! its quite easy to find a job for me since I'm homeschooled and can work during the day.
