Ok here it goes.....My dad is a bum to all his kids and ofcourse we all vowed not to be like him.... I have a brother I've never met but i always try to keep in touch with them but they never keep in touch with me as often as i do them ....I have one brother who i've never met before and he was the one of the key reasons i wanted to join the airforce.. but anyways we were suppose to meet up when they took a vacation in Florida........and he told me this like 4 months in advance....he promised me we were gonna meet for the very first time... My dad never kept his promises.........so that made me tough and not to trust alot of people... I expected him to be totally different and keep his word but he didnt...i just recieved an email showing pictures of him and his family in florida and i feel betrayed.....
Was it my fault for not calling him?
Should I send him an angry email?
Or should i just become even more depressed and keep it inside?

First off don't blame it all on yourself, relationships are 2-way, and it takes at least 2 in the relationship to make things work. There are just times we give reasons for not doing what we want to do, maybe out of fear or something.

Don't send an angry email, anger just makes things worse and its a way people push each other away further. And once you say it you can't take it back, and sometimes we end up regretting the words we say out of anger.

And never bottle up sad things inside of you usually people end up breaking down because they bottle up too much. I agree to what the others said in their reply, maybe email him or something telling him how you felt - not in an angry vibe, but in a way that may help him realise that what happened did upset you. There are reasons people do what they do I guess and most of the time problems are often just misunderstandings. You can go shopping too ehehhe that helps me a lot to not be depressed lol. I hope you will feel better though take care.
