no you don't need a slot 2 device. i use a R4 and insidious uses a m3real, i think. anyway it works and if anyone wants it in a ready made .zip file all you gota do is extract it then drag and drop into root directory and your all done. just pm me if you want it.

i have both an r4 ds and my sister bought an m3real.. i swaped my r4 for her m3real cause it had a GBA expansion (slot 2) which was needed to play gba emulator.. but other emulators do not need slot 2 devices. slicers zips have all you need, snes, nes, gameboycolour..
