Hardware \ Advice for DS Lite

This is what happened with me it might not be the ds it might be brain training not recognising the mic!

so go to thw store you bought it from and see if you can use a different mic compatible game with ur ds! See how it goes!

The best deal I found from a bricks-and-mortar store was at Toys R Us, where for $195 or so you get either a black or white DS Lite with your choice of either Nintendogs (any version) or Pokemon Ranger, and also a page of vouchers for $5 off DS games. Considering EB sells just the console for $185, that's a pretty good deal.

Mind you, this was a while back, so they might have some new games for you to choose from.

yeh but make sure you check if its the game first ok mate! because it might not be the ds that is stuffed!

Okay, I'll try to check as soon as possible. I bought it from Kmart, so how long are you allowed to have the game before returning it?

Whatever you get, go for a bundle that includes a game. Great value. And buy Cooking Mama while you're out.

Neither New Super Mario Brothers nor Metroid Prime Hunters appeals to me at all. I expect new gaming experiences from my DS, so I buy novel games. Super Mario is for my GB Micro + Flash cart, and FPS is for my PC.

Hmm, I'll try but is there a proper way to clean it out? 'cos I don't know what'll happen if I completely stuff up the mic on my friend's DS. (blowing balloons in Mario Kart kinda works, but it's hard as heck, so the mic isn't COMPLETELY stuffed at the moment)

Of course. Same reason I bought a Wii: a new way to play and all that jazz. The same-old game experiences are on my PC, but I want cutting-edge too.

yeh one of the things i like about the ds is its cutting edge stuff! but i also like just all the nintendo games like mkds!

The ds is revolutionary with its new features! like sony would never think of a game like nintendogs!
