what im saying is, that there is no trend happening.. both companies want to make profits.. they do that by releasing games to a wider audience.. example PS and NINTENDO. during the ps2/gamecube era square only released final fantasy and other games to Playstation.. they expanded by releasing games to gamecube (ffcc + a few others) then moved to GBA (ff1,2,4,5,6 and more) to now (ds wii). konami on the otherhand konami have been releasing games to nintendo for ages.
SO ALL IM SAYING is basically, square and konami want to release stuff to a wider audience. Expansion.
