hey guess wat?
Yesterday I went to EB to check out the latest DS games. I saw a preowned Mario Kart game on Game Boy Advance for $45 bucks!Such a crappy deal....But then later on I went to JB HI-FI and I saw a brand new Mario Kart game on DS for only $44.Cheaper and not preowned!

Whatever happened to EB's cheap preowned games?

yeah theyve got heaps of those.. i went and picked up a preowned once and my mum came over and said "this is new and its cheaper" so i tried to swap it they said that it was too late, mind you they didnt scan it yet, and for some reason they wouldnt swap it so we just walked out, saved my money. till i found it else wehre even cheaper

thats pretty poor that.. i bet they still advertised games under the "coming soon" and "pre order now" banners yet when you went in to pick those games up they didnt have em.

i used to go all the time ages ago during the n64 days when they used to have good deals. but then they got really expencive so i started going to dicksmith where i got staff discount. and the games were always cheaper there.

Yeah I was a regular EB customer. I pretty much get all my games at JB's now unless i'm not totally sure on a game I want..then i'll use EB's for the 7 day trade/refund thing.

Tell me about it. I traded a game with them last week and they gave me $7 for it. It was in a store I rarely get to but i'd love to see what they resell it for.

i asked them how much for ds games, 10 dollars i think they said, we paid what.. 65-69 or there abouts for them, they sell them at 45-55.

your better off selling your stuff over ebay or trading post or something.

im just checking eb website for game cube games, preowned, alot of them are 50-60 dollars still. Zelda Twilight is still 94 dollars preowned wth is that? i found the game im after its $24.94 half price $14, so im in luck there considering i was bidding on ebay for $30.

Dick Smith is still a bit too expensive.
I'd try Big W, Target or K-mart as well. They're fairly cheap.

Definitely! I keep an eye on their catalogues...you can get some great deals from them that's for sure.

But EB Games are always having special sales like 1/2 price or $10 - $40 off marked games. Only problem is that they're crap games
