Last week I got sick of playing CDs in my car, so I loaded my R4DS with MP3s and a copy of LMP-NG (an iPod clone), stuck the DS into a car PDA holder I bought from eBay, and attached an FM transmitter to it. Hours of MP3 beats through my car stereo, controlled via the touch screen.

But why stop there? I use DSOrganize (it's a multi-purpose PDA application) to view roadmaps I've downloaded or scanned while I'm on the road. I'm looking for a program that can support very large images, though (DSOrganize can't do more than around 1000 pixels).

And then I started wondering about what I would do in a traffic jam, or how I would entertain passengers on long car trips, so I converted a movie or two and use Moonshell to play them (again, crazy bass through my car stereo), and put a few eBooks in for good measure. The thing owns.
