I haven't herd any other complaints about Decal Girls work so I'm not going to judge her work, I bought a skin of Vins Decals in USA and it's been on my DS for over six months now and it still looks good.
If these decal companies use a better quality stock with a better adhesive then that will solve the premature pealing but that will also increase the price of the skin, same goes with the ink, I guess the company has to find a good medium between cost and quality. Most of these skins a digitally printed which gives a good high resolution image but shorter life span.
