Capcom has announced that publisher THQ will handle all of the developers distribution in Australia and New Zealand. The announcement means that Resident Evil 5, Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop and Street Fighter IV will all definitely arrive on time in Australia.
Capcom's previous distributor in the region Red Ant recently went into receivership, sparking concerns that above games would not meet their Aussie release dates. THQ are committed to making the dates, putting an end to any rumours that we would see a delay.
"We are excited to be working with Capcom," said Rodney Block, General Manager – THQ Australia/NZ. "Capcom is renowned for great gaming experiences and have such incredible franchises as Street Fighter and Resident Evil. THQ are looking forward to bringing these highly-anticipated Capcom titles to gaming audiences across Australia and New Zealand."
