I never really used to be a resident evil fan until i played RE4, which total changed my perspective. Ever since playing RE4, i can't get enough. So once i heard about Deadly Silence i got it straight away. It is a remake of the first resident evil and is actually quite good remake for a portable. The graphics are good and the gameplay even better. It makes good use of the touch pad, which is used for special first person scenes (which can get repetative at times) and puzzles that open chests. There is a good range of weapons and enemies to keep the game interesting. It keeps the idea of having squares to put limited items in and i quite liked it. Throughout the game, you just can't put it down because you want to know what's going to happen next. There's a big lead up to the final boss, who is a let down because if you get the rocket launcher, with around one direct shot, he is dead. After completing the game, there are a couple extra's-multi-cartridge multiplayer, first person scene minigame (which is addictive), new character to play as and alternate costumes to unlock.
