What is exactly up with ye olde lower case 'i' all of a sudden being the latest in fashion? Apparently there's more to it than Nintendo simply following Apple's lead of placing a lowercase 'i' in front of every white shiny device to ensure millions of sales.

A Nintendo of America rep has stated that the "i" in DSi is symbolic of the subjective term "I" with it's personal aspect as in "I went for a walk" (or I overused I in that sentence). It also refers to the fact that the "two cameras gives the system its own eye on things."

Remember these are the people that renamed their home console from the awesome sounding "revolution" to "Wii" and that seemed to work for them.
