The DSi launched in Australia today! There's a tough price war going on as we speak; a majority of retailers are offering some great deals on the new handheld. JB Hi-Fi is the best of the pack if you're not trading in, selling the DSi for a crazy $269. They have a habit of raising the price after just a few days on sale, we don't know exactly when it will end but buy sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.
If you're looking to trade-in most EB's are offering the DSi for $149 when you trade-in your DS Lite. This deal was originally $175 with the trade-in and some EB Games stores are still advertising that price. If you come across this let them know other EB stores are selling the console for $149 and they should match it for you. If you also want to offload some games, GAME is selling the DSi for $129 when you trade in your DS Lite plus 2 games. No exclusions apply so you really can offload those titles that will never be played by anyway again.
