Nintendo of Europe released a press release today detailing the DSi Ware and WiiWare titles to be released in Pal regions between April and June 2009.
Laurent Fischer, Managing Director of Marketing & PR of Nintendo of Europe comments:
”We are pleased by how far WiiWare has come since its launch last year. Currently there are approximately 58 WiiWare games available in Europe, packed with exciting content available to download through the Wii Shop Channel. This just goes to demonstrate the breadth of creativity that Wii users now have access to. We are particularly pleased that WiiWare has enabled developers to make games on our platform which they may not have had a chance to do otherwise. Now that Nintendo DSiWare has launched across Europe we hope that the same principles of WiiWare will follow suit on the new handheld console, allowing a greater and diverse range of software and applications to be made available for users on the go.”
The following games and applications are available to download from the Nintendo DSi Shop as of today and in the coming months from 200 Nintendo Points.
NINTENDO DSi BROWSER (ALREADY AVAILABLE FROM NINTENDO)
Download the Nintendo DSi Browser for free and surf the web using your Nintendo DSi! You can check your e-mails, get the latest news updates and more – wherever a wireless Internet connection is available. Use both screens to view websites and browse web-based content, and the Touch Screen and stylus to navigate web pages and enter text, either using the on-screen keyboard or the built-in handwriting recognition.
A LITTLE BIT OF…. DR KAWASHIMA'S BRAIN TRAINING: MATHS EDITION (COMING SOON ON NINTENDO DSiWARE FROM NINTENDO)
Train your brain with Dr Kawashima's new Nintendo DSiWare game, enhanced with Nintendo DSi features in the new Themes section. Use the inner camera to capture your impersonations, try your hand at illustrating and share them with friends later. Alternatively try out some new maths exercises and flex your brain.
ART STYLE: AQUITE (ALREADY AVAILABLE FROM NINTENDO)
