The Game and Watch is renowned for starting the handheld gaming phenomenon.
Old school pocket sized fun is now lending a hand to Nintendo's current handheld marvel, the DSi.
Starting on July 15th in Japan the classic Game and Watch minigames that started it all will see a revival by being sold for download as DSiWare. The first titles to be released will be Ball, Vermin, Flagman and Judge. And then on July 29, Helmet and Chef will be up for download. Donkey Kong Jr, Mario's Cement Factory and Manhole will be released in August.
All Game and Watch titles will be 200 DSi Points.

It has not been announced whether the games will be available outside of Japan.
