Conspiracy Entertainment has announced that they will be bringing "a dynamic fast paced, action packed, first-person shooter" to the Nintendo DS in the form of C.O.R.E..

C.O.R.E. sees you in the shoes of a marine who has been sent to a lab, built from to study a meteor impact that occurred over two decades ago. The scientists working at the lab had lost contact with the outside world 2 weeks ago and you’ve been sent in to investigate. Gamers must search the numerous levels of the facility "where players can roam freely battling with a variety of enemies and bosses". The levels will be complete in 3D and will have multiple different options to pass the level "allowing the players to discover new weapons, passageways, hiding places and solutions each time the game is played".

During your search of the lab you’ll run into variety of enemies including mad scientists, other marines and even mutants. You’ll have all the usual firearms at your disposal to combat these including the trusty shotgun, rifles, handguns and some experimental type weapons (plasma rifle anyone?). C.O.R.E. will feature four player multiplayer including Death Match, Team Arena and Capture the Flag, which will all be available with single card play.

C.O.R.E. does not yet have a release date.
