The story of Legacy of Ys: Books I & II follows the adventures of a young swordsman called Adol, who embarks on a quest to find the ancient land of Ys. During his travels, Adol hears the tale of Esteria, a once thriving island that has suddenly become engulfed by a powerful storm. Curious of the mysteries surrounding the storm, Adol plots a course for the island.
