ok the r4 and the m3 are teh same but m3 has been slack and not as may firmware updates out for it cos there lazy

so r4's are better then m3's because r4's have more firmware updates.
i bought r4 for 38 bucks and i gig micor sd for 17 of ebay
this i rekon is the bets way to go

$72 you have the link there for a reason, and they had to restock in only 2 days of selling....

Not to mention you can only get a 2gb memory SD for the M3 and R4 But with the G6 theres no sandisk needed and no pass me either its all built in and its not a stupid 2gb its 8gbs !

While on this topic i updated my m3 with the latest r4 firmare 1.10 and it was meant to help loading issues with pokemon d&p but yeah it didnt... any one know of a firmware that lets you load pokemon saves ?

Nintendo itself likes to impress people who don't know any better (hehehe), so they label their cartridges in Gigabits so that they can put larger numbers on them when doing press releases and marketing to developers. The practice simply carried over to Flash Cart manufacturers. 1 gigabit is 128 megabytes.

And hey, why'd you update your M3 Simply with R4DS firmware? It kind of does nothing, based on what I've been told. You'll have to wait for M3 Adapters to make the 1.10 firmware into something useable on a Simply.
