Just letting you know I ordered from Modchipstore.com and since received absolutely nothing, they are completely uncontactable and have charged my card but won't reply to any emails, support tickets etc. Now i'm down $120 USD =( with very little chance of getting it back..

I believe they would have sent my order eventually but there is no chance now.. it seems they were hit by 'Operation Tangled Web' meaning all the stock was seized and their business frozen..

Anyway, their site is still live and taking orders! So beware.. their site is still live and taking orders, charging credit cards and putting the money in their bank.. even though they have been shut down! I placed my order after the date of Operation Tangled Web (1st August 07) I can only assume they're in custody and locked out from their site so it's still running itself

If you order from them you will most likely never see your order or money ever again..

If this saves one person then it was worth posting this..

You can contact your credit card company and deny the charge, most of the time they'll contact the business who charged your card for proof, if there's none, you'll get your money back.

Danny Boy, yeah the forum trail is getting ugly for em, forums.ds-xtreme already has a heap of negative stuff, I wish i spotted this earlier! oh well lesson learnt.. no doubt if they do come back it will be under another name..

Shiversul - thanks buddy, i hope so too, funnily enough this has made me look more into alternatives and now i'm going to get a CycloDS instead which i think will be better in the long run..

GameWonder - yeah i thought of that hahah! But found honesty is always the best policy so called my CC company and explained I paid for goods that were never delivered, they will contact the business for proof of delivery which of course won't exist and then hopefully will do a chargeback.. hopefully!

You might think there are doing dodgies but modchipstore is the biggest in the US. I'm pretty sure he got about $200,000 worth of stock at anyone time...so the guy is pretty ****** when they took it all. But yeah ring your CC company

And don't open form any store in the US. Personally, I don't order anything from anyone overseas, saving a couple of bucks is just not worth it in times like this.

Yeah i don't blame them, I don't think they're overly dodgy etc, I ordered from them because they were such a big store etc and I feel sorry for the guys but more sorry for me hahah!

Anyway, i'll be ordering the CycloDS from you, I emailed you last week actually, just waiting for you to get stock in..

We actaully got an email from them today saying that we will only get 50% of our stock due to the size of our order (its big), and the lack of supply. They are going to go pretty quick, so don't leave it too late.
We should have a confirmed tracking number tonight, and have them in our hands on Thursday.
