Not sure which game it was but I restarted for fun with the intention of NOT saving my progress, just wanted to play the start for a few hours. I was having trouble beating one of the gym leaders, so I trained and trained and finally beat him! I then saved so I didnt have to beat him again and then realised I just saved over my other game file.

I just topped my own stupidity 3 days ago... I recently put a Dragonair in the Daycare Centre with my Lvl. 56 Ditto, because I wanted a baby Dratini. So I rode around, waiting for an egg to be produced. It was and I went and collected the egg. I tried to obtain Dragonair back as well, but I had no room left. So I went to the PC, with the intention of depositing a Pokemon other than my partner Pokemon and the egg, but instead got sidetracked and began sorting out the Pokemon in the boxes. Then I thought it would be nice to do a contest, so I flew to Hearthome City and began contesting (at which time I placed the egg inside a PC box).
The next day I went back to the Daycare Centre, thinking I had not received my egg yet. So I obtained ANOTHER Dratini egg, and the process continued over the next day...
By the end of the third day I had 5 Dratini eggs 
Anybody want one?

I was playing diamond and put down my ds to eat dinner,
my dog picked it up and buried it in the front yard.
I went and found it though ... it's still ok, works fine. the dog wont dare come near me anymore now.
