Nintendo Wi-Fi \ wifi help now not nex week now

Well for anyone having similar problems, you need either a WIRELESS ROUTER or the USB WI-FI ADAPTOR in order to configure your Wi-Fi settings on the DS. You can't configure any settings until you have one of those two devices installed and properly functioning.

Setting up the Wi-Fi config on the DS is a hell of a lot simpler than the PSP. Its practically find a hotspot, access the settings on the DS and you're on your way.

I thought wireless setup on the PSP was a piece of cake. If your router has DHCP enabled, it should be easy on both DS and PSP.

There is one downside... if your wireless network has WPA/WPA2 security enabled, you won't be able to connect to it. The only option there is to reduce the security level to WEP, or get the USB WiFi Dongle from Nintendo.... and if you have a WPA-secured Wireless Network running on Mac's, you have no option at all :^)
